SIGNS
There are signs on the windows there are signs in the hall
There are signs on the pavement but I don’t know what they’re for
I can’t find my way, I can’t find my way

There are signs to the left there are sign on the right
They surround me in the morning and they keep me up at night
I can’t find my way, I can’t find my way

So tear them up and throw them away
Take my hand and won’t you show me the way

There are signs in the closet there are signs on the floor
And they point in each direction but I still need some more
I can’t find my way, I can’t find my way

There are signs on my shoulders on my arms there are more
And there’s one on my finger but I don’t know what it’s for
I can’t find my way, I can’t find my way

So tear them up and throw them away
Take my hand and won’t you show me the way

Sat nav’s gone crazy ‘cos all the ways he can go
So it’s not just me
This way and that way, up, down and sideways
As far as I can see

There are signs on the ceiling there are signs on the floor
There’s even one in the ice box but I can’t take no more
I can’t find my way, I can’t find my way

So tear them up and throw them away
Take my hand and won’t you show me the way
