QUEEN OF MY HEART
Liberty called me from when I was four
So I finally made the flight
Well it took thirty years and a bundle of fears
But I boarded the plane last night
In every square mile I behaved like a child
And tried nearly every vice
I said hey rock and roll you’re a beautiful soul
You’re the queen of my heart

Slept in the park on the edge of the dark
With Darcy and Boston Jill
We held off the night with a Cuban delight
And a magical yellow pill
Woke all alone in the dew and the cold
Sometimes I wonder why
But I said hey rock and roll you’re a beautiful soul
You’re the queen of my heart

Well now I’ve punished my body, I’ve wasted my mind
You know I really don’t give a damn
I know where I’m going, I know where I’ve been
But I don’t know where I am

At JFK got a five hour delay
So I sat at the bar all night
Was the red-eye from NY in no time I found that
I drank ‘til I lost my sight
Long Island passed like a dream in my mind
By Paris I felt like hell
I said hey rock and roll you’re a beautiful soul
You’re the queen of my heart
Yes I said hey rock and roll you’re a beautiful soul
You’re the queen of my heart, oh yes you are
The queen of my heart
