HOME AGAIN
I’m a thorn in my very own side
Got this misery wish that I can’t shake off though I’ve tried
So I walk in the pouring rain
Guess the drops will hide all the tears I’ve cried in pain

You can say I’ve done this on my own
Maybe I deserve to be alone
I can tell you nothing’s ever gonna be the same
Until I’m home again

So I drift through the night
I may smile at you now but I’ll be crying when I get out of sight
I may sing as I go
But a song don’t have to be a happy song, Lord don’t you know?

You can say I’ve done this on my own
Maybe I deserve to be alone
I can tell you nothing’s ever gonna be the same
Until I’m home again, ‘til I’m home again

So I crawl where once I’d have flown
I can cast me feet in concrete all on my own
I don’t ask for your sympathy
I can wallow in my own demise quite capably

You can say I’ve done this on my own
Maybe I deserve to be alone
I can tell you nothing’s ever gonna be the same
Until I’m home again, ‘til I’m home again
