I’m transfixed by its beauty as it will fill the sky, fill the sky



Tonight the moon is as big as my love for you
And it will paint all the sky in a steely blue
Just like the blue that I get when I’m not with you

Tonight I’m a singer and I’ll perform to a modest few
But my songs have no meaning I want to sing them to you
But I must do my duty so I will work ‘til the night is through
As I’m travelling homeward I can’t help but see the view, see the view

Tonight I’m a writer as such I will choose how the story ends
In the opening chapter I want to be your best friend
In exotic locations you will behave as the author intends
But there’ll be no denouement this love will never end, never end
