ALIVE

Look at me now, look through my eyes
There’s a universe to behold
Look over my brow, up to the skies
See the sunshine cut through the cold



And I feel so alive, my moment’s arrived
I hear every beat of my heart
I see everything, I could be king
If I’d felt like this from the start



Well it used to be dark, it used to be bleak
There were monsters under the bed
The colours were stark, where once they were weak
There’s a spectral glory instead

Look at me now, look at my smile
There’s a happiness to embrace
I’m wondering how after so many miles
There’s a willingness on my face
